It has been raining A LOT lately, and there was a particularly bad storm this afternoon. Probably several inches fell within an hour. And it did some damage: there was a torrential leak in the ceiling of an office down the hall from me. It wouldn't surprise me if the ceiling caves in if it rains at all before it is repaired.
I had a much smaller scale leak at home too, where the roofs join.
